Brand new again

Here we go. Day one of my new adjustments. I'm going to be healthy again. And I will loose this weight. Not only loose it but never find it again.140 here I come!

Forth of July means cook outs...steaks...hamburgers....hot dogs....chicken...all the good things. I am planning on having something good to eat today. Not concerned about the 'diet' but will be mindful of what I eat. I did not get finished my water yesterday but that is my goal today...6 glasses of water. i am taking this one day at a time.

Today is the first real day of the new me. Sundays are usually very hard for me food wise as I normally only really eat one meal a day.  I did not have breakfast today, but went out for a family members birthday. We went to a buffet resturant today, so that became my meal.  Sundays are also late study nights for me (almsot 2am) so I may be snacking later on tonight.

I have purchaed a 1.5 L bottle of water (6 glasses) My goal is to drink this today. I did have some soda, but if I get my water in today I would have accomplished something.

Ready For A Change

I have tried many different diet programs: Weight Watchers (more than once) 3 day diet, 4 day diet, 5 day diet, 7 day diet, Cabbage diet, Slim Fast...you name it, I have tried it.  Frankly I am tired of trying to lose the weight.  I remember reading one day in I believe Woman's World of a woman who began to blog to lose weight. She did it for her, and each day she had a blog...what she ate, what she drank, how she felt, etc.  She even put when she 'fell off the wagon' to her surprise she received so much support.  I do not know what this will do.  This may just be therapy for me, but it is a start. So today is Saturday, July 2, 2011.  I am just setting up this blog.  Only time will tell what it will lead to.
